Lift irrigation at gulburga

• We are involved in implementation of Lift Irrigation schemes in Sedam taluk of Gulbarga district. This is supported by Government and some private donors.
• We were involved in the rehabilitation work after the severe floods in Raichur district in 2009 October. We worked in around 80 villages and build around 300 houses.
• Ensuring girl child education and reducing child labour was one of the programs which ran for nearly 4 years with the support of different NGOs
• We were involved with UNICEF for 3 years in implementing a program to improve health conditions in Raichur taluk.
• We worked with government in implementing JSYS program; that is rehabilitation of Tanks in Raichur district.
• Prerana has implemented hundreds of Lift Irrigation schemes since 1990 benefiting thousands of farmers and also formed more than 500 SHG’s.
