Prerana was registered in 1990, under the Karnataka Society Act. The NGO has 80G certificate from the Income Tax Department. Prerana is promoted by Mr. Pramod Kulkarni, (M.Sc., PGDM, IIM Ahmedabad, 1981).
We provide :
- Financial support to meritorious but economically weak students.
- Training and such handholding to achieve academic excellence.
- Bring in many people to sponsor and then to spread the spirit of giving.
NTSE programme
This year, under this NTSE programme, our ambition is to select, brightest of the bright students studying in 7th Standard from economically disadvantaged families in school situated in and around Bangalore South.
Selection of Students
‘Nurture Merit Programme’, identifies students in need of support to pursue higher studies after Class X and provides financial assistance to them till they graduate.
Student Counselling
Counselling We have realized that it is very useful to talk to students on a one-to-one basis. Talking to students individually helps us to advise him/her accordingly.
